ArchivesCounterfeit currency recovered at local bankBy Nixie Sanderson Counterfeit currency was recovered at a local bank Wednesday. “We recovered a $10 and a $20 bill,” Dalhart Police Chief David Conenr said. “Where it was passed and everything else, we don’t know. We’ve got an open investigation and we’re trying to figure out who passed it.” The two bills were recovered at Dalhart Federal Savings and Loan. Bank president Rodney White said they have seen larger denominations in the last year.
