ArchivesDISD board discusses hiring At-Risk InterventionistBY ZELDA BETH LANG The DISD Board of Trustees met at noon on Tuesday, July 18. A long discussion was held on the possible hiring of an At-Risk Interventionist. Each Board member gave their ideas and approval for Superintendent John Massey to look into adding another employee that would help students. Principals present thought this was a good idea. Each board member gave their ideas what a new employee should have to qualify for the job. The board agreed for Massey to pursue this and find someone to fit their description.
