NewsDalhart FFA teams compete at area leadership development events
BY BILL KELLY The Dalhart High School FFA chapter participated in the Area LDE (Leadership Development Events) contest on Saturday, November 19 at West Texas A&M University in Canyon and had an excellent showing with one team advancing to state. In the ag advocacy contest, the team of Leslie Batenhorst, Mary Rumley and Colton Bezner took fifth place. In the public relations event, the team of Kullen Sorrels, Kenton Parish and Erin Nutter took fourth place.
