Dalhart EDC donates $1 million to new nursing home
The Dalhart Economic Development Corporation presented a check for a donation of $1 million to Louise Rahll and the Dallam-Hartley Counties Healthcare Foundation for the new nursing home that will be built by the hospital district. Louise and her late husband Gene Rahll made a pledge to donate $10 million if $5 million was raised by the rest of the community for the new nursing home, and that commitment was met back in March. The new facility will be called “The Rahll” in honor of Gene and Louise Rahll.
