Sales tax revenue sent to local entities
(AUSTIN) — Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock announced June 10 that he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.3 billion in local sales tax allocations for June, 7.4% more than in June 2025.
These allocations are based on sales made in April by businesses that report tax monthly.

The City of Dalhart will receive $262,143.98. This is a 1.75% decrease over the amount received last year for the same time period, which was $266,829.43. The total for the year is $1,734,101.39, an increase of 5.28%.
The City of Texline will receive $6,353.56, which is a decrease of 4.24% over the amount received last year for the same time period. The total for the year is $43,836.19, an increase of 24.91%.
The City of Channing will receive $1,099.41 according to the reports, which is an increase of 20.35% over the amount received last year for the same time period. The total for the year is $15,857.77, an increase of 147.42% from last year.
