The Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce, with support from the City of Dalhart Economic Development Corporation (EDC), will once again host Summer Jams this summer at the Hilmar Amphitheatre at Rita Blanca Lake. There will be a concert each Friday throughout June and July, along with an extra concert on Saturday July 4.

The first concert will be tomorrow night, Friday May 29 and will feature Black Tie Revolt & Parkside. Black Tie Revolt is a rock band out of Amarillo, and Parkside blends rock and country. Karma, a cover band, will perform on Friday June 5. Ty Blackburn, a Red Dirt country singer, will be on stage on Friday June 12, and Obvious Few & Ghosts of Gray County will perform on June 19. Obvious Few mixes genres, and Ghosts of Gray County is a band out of Pampa that plays alternative rock. Geezers Gone Wild will end the month of June on Friday June 26 by playing classic rock.

The Tanner Lane Band will perform on Friday July 3, and Jack Cryver & The Bad Decisions will perform the next night, Saturday July 4 for Independence Day. Strange Whiskey will be on stage on July 10, Justin Ross and Deadwood Revival will perform on July 17, the Buster Bledsoe Band will perform on July 24, and Moon Dog will appear on July 31. The Buster Bledsoe Band has performed in Dalhart multiple times and should be well known to many in the community. Moon Dog and Strange Whiskey are both out of Amarillo, and Justin Ross & Deadwood Revival are based out of Fort Worth.

The concerts will be from 7:30-10 p.m. during each night of Summer Jams, and food trucks will also be in the area selling food. Entry is free.
