St. Anthony 3rd, 4th graders donate money for new nursing home
Following the Ash Wednesday Mass on February 18, the third and fourth graders at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School decided to collect change to donate to the new Nursing Home as their Almsgiving Project during the Season of Lent. As the deadline for community contributions to the Nursing Home was March 31, the students sent their coins to the bank to be changed into a cashier’s check that amounted to $319.33. The classes invited Mrs. Louise Rahll and Mr. Zach Bickel to come to the school on Tuesday March 31 to accept their check on behalf of the DHCH Foundation.
