AgTexas returns patronage to member-owners after strong year

AgTexas Farm Credit Services, a member-owned agricultural cooperative serving producers in 43 counties across Texas, is distributing patronage checks to its members following a successful fiscal year.

The cooperative’s Board of Directors approved returning more than $35 million in patronage, reflecting the organization’s continued financial strength and commitment to sharing earnings with the members who finance their agriculture properties and activities through AgTexas.

Patronage distributions are based on each member’s level of participation with the cooperative

during the year.

Returning this large share of our profitable operations in 2025 to our members is at the heart of what we do,” said Kayla Robinson, CEO. “When we do well, our member-owners also benefit. That’s the power of patronage.”

The distribution will be made by check to each member-owner, reinforcing AgTexas’ long-term financial stability while delivering immediate benefits. Cooperative leadership noted that strategic investments, disciplined cost management, and strong member engagement contributed to the year’s performance.

AgTexas operates in 43 counties across the South Plains, the Texas Panhandle, and Central Texas, with 11 offices in the Lubbock, Amarillo, and Fort Worth areas.

The cooperative is recognized as a leader in both 4-H and FFA programs through its AgYouth Scholarship Program, which has awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships to graduating high school students, graduate students, and adult leaders in the programs.

Robinson adds, “At AgTexas, we invest in our communities, our members, and our youth. This philosophy is our way of life, and it has helped us become the premier Texas ag lender.”

AgTexas members-owners will receive detailed statements outlining their individual allocations along with their check
