Texline’s Samantha Young, Dalhart’s Victoria Terrazas shine at State
Victoria Terrazas, a senior for the Dalhart Lady Wolves, placed 11th in Class 3A at the State Cross Country Championships in Round Rock on October 11, which automatically earned her a place on the Cross Country Coaches Association of Texas All-State team. Texline freshman Samantha Young finished in a tie for fifth place in terms of time in Class 1A at the State Cross Country Championships at Round Rock on October 31. She was awarded sixth place as it was determined that the other runner crossed the finish line by a fraction of an inch ahead of her. Bill Kelly | Dalhart Texan
