Sony Music signs Aniston Pate to global deal
(Nashville, TN) – On Wednesday August 27, Sony Music Publishing Nashville announced the signing of rising singer-songwriter Aniston Pate to a global publishing agreement.
Known for her heartfelt storytelling and Texas-born grit, Aniston Pate is quickly emerging as one of country music’s most promising new voices. A recent graduate of Belmont University, Pate capped off her collegiate career with a major win as the 2025 Country Showcase Champion, and her momentum has continued to build since then.
Pate has recently earned success with releases including “Honky Tonk Without a Woman” (2024), solidifying her reputation across Music Row as an artist to watch. Currently, Pate is working on a new project alongside acclaimed producers Rob Williford and Aaron Raitiere.
“I want to say thank you to everyone in the Sony team for believing in my songs,” Pate said. “Thank you to Emily Carignan for sticking by my side. Thank you to my friends that make even the hardest of times fun. Thank you to Mom and Ian for helping me believe I could do this. And thank you to the Lord for every time He heard me pray.”
Sony Music Publishing Nashville Vice President, Creative A&R Tom Luteran said, “Aniston is a true unicorn as an artist. When Emily Carignan first played me her music I was intrigued, and when I met her, I was hooked – we both can’t wait for the rest of the world to hear this budding superstar.”
Pate graduated from Dalhart High School in 2021. She sang the National Anthem at volleyball and basketball games throughout her time in high school at DHS, and also sang the National Anthem at the XIT Rodeo for several years, and sang during the feeds as well. She also performed at various local and area venues during her time in high school and college, and has also toured around the state and region while in college during summer breaks. Most recently, Pate and her band played at the La Rita Theatre last month.
