La Rita lures Liverpool Legends to local limelight
Beatlemania is back, and it’s coming to Dalhart! The creative minds behind La Rita Theatre bring the Grammy-nominated Liverpool Legends and “The Complete Beatles Experience” to stage Feb. 22 at 7:00 p.m.
Liverpool Legends is comprised of four incredibly talented musicians and actors hand-selected by Louise Harrison, sister of the late George Harrison of the Beatles. Celebrating their 10th season headlining their own show in Branson, Missouri, the group has been awarded the city”s Best New Show, Best Band and Best Show, and has received the prestigious Visitor's Choice Award for Entertainer of the Year for consecutive years.
Select members of the Dalhart High School Golden Wolves Liverpool Legends have toured the world culminating with two sold out performances for 20,000 people at Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, as well as performances in India, Israel, Ecuador, Chile, England, Canada, and throughout the United States. They have headlined at the Rose Bowl four times, performing for more than 160,000 people and at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Liverpool Legends have performed at many historic Beatles related venues such as The Cavern Club in Liverpool, recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London, and performed with Denny Laine (cofounder of Wings with Paul McCartney) and Pete Best (the original Beatles Drummer).
They perform songs spanning the entire career of The Beatles and on through the solo years. With precise attention to every musical detail, along with costume changes, vintage instruments and special effects, Liverpool Legends will make you feel like you are watching the real thing! Together these four lads will bring you "The Complete Beatles Experience."
