Chamber of Commerce leaders predict successful year

The Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to another busy, but rewarding, year.

“We’re thriving!” said Chamber president Kristy Detwiler. “We had a little bit of a hard time my first year here, but last year was better, and I’m really looking forward to my coming year. I think this will be our best ever.”

Detwiler took over running the Chamber in December 2022 following the abrupt resignation via Facebook post of former president Ashley Posthumus and vice-president McKinsey Ogle in October of that year. Detwiler began with basic organization and public relation rebuilding, and has been moving forward since.
