ArchivesMLK Closures MondayMLK Closures MondayDalhart City Hall and all other city facilities, including landfills, will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, as will the Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce. The Post Office will also be closed and there will be no mail delivery. Both Dallam and Hartley County offices, including the Dallam Hartley County Library, will be open, but banks and other private businesses may be closed. The Dalhart Texan will open at its normal time (8:00 a.m.) but may close early due to weather.
