Archives“Soak a Senior”Coltin Carnesecca has water poured on him by Kaetlin Sundvahl after the game against Denver City. The Dalhart High student council held a “Soak a Senior” contest during the week leading up to the game, with buckets set up so that students at school and fans at the Talkington volleyball games and the Denver City football game could donate to a specific senior football player’s bucket. The three seniors who had the most money donated in their name were then soaked after the game, and Carnesecca’s bucket contained the most money of all, $363.33. Drew Fisher was third with $97 and Elisaeo Maldonado was second with $245, and a total of $833.68 was raised for the Twilight Fund.
