ArchivesTxDOT crews to make safety improvements on USTxDOT crews to make safety improvements on USBeginning today, August 14, crews from the Texas Department of Transportation will perform safety upgrades in both directions of US 87 in between Omaha Street and Dallam Street. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, August 16. Drivers should anticipate various lane closures during this time. Also beginning this week, contractors will make cement repairs in various locations around Dalhart. This work is expected to be completed by next Friday, August 23. Please drive with caution and reduce speed through all work zones. All projects are subject to change due to weather, emergency work and other unexpected events.
