Fire destroys home
The Dalhart Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire call around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at 814 Lincoln Street. When units arrived, flames and smoke were showing from multiple windows and doors. The building was a complete loss, but no injuries were reported. Also responding were Hartley Volunteer Fire Department, Dalhart Police Department and Dalhart EMS. The fire is under investigation.
