A Lucky LandingA private plane being flown through Dalhart on its journey home to Mexico lost engine power Friday morning and landed upside down in a field off Mackey Road. The pilot was not injured, Flying W Aviation owner and pilot Clay Waldrip assisted with rescue efforts by circling the air space until first responders located the site.
