Hilmar announces scholarships

Hilmar Cheese Company offers a competitive scholarship program to employee children, children of the dairy farm families who ship milk, and to students pursuing an agriculture degree or trade school in the communities in which we operate. Students with permanent residence in Hartley or Dallam county Texas are eligible.

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or currently enrolled in undergraduate studies at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university or enrolled in a trade or technical school. In order to help as many students as possible, the scholarship is granted once per individual. Applicants may reapply for a scholarship if they have not received one in the past.

Students are encouraged to apply online and upload a letter of recommendation and unofficial transcripts. Applications are due February 1, 2023. Website to apply: https:// www.hilmarcheese.com/ about_us/scholarship-application/
