Amarillo’s Lowe takes XIT Bareback title

Amarillo’s Will Lowe captured the bareback riding championship at the 86th XIT Rodeo and Reunion last weekend, with an 86-point ride on Hampton Pro Rodeo’s “Ruffled Feathers.” Lowe earned $2,456 for his efforts. Texline’s Brazos Winters placed eighth with a 79.5 ride.

All-Around Cowboy was Taylor Santos of Creston, Calif., who earned $2,267.07 in steer roping and tie-down roping.
