Dalhart Chamber of Commerce hosts ribbon cuttings

By Rhonda Butters

The Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce hosted three ribbon cuttings on Tuesday September 28. One was for The Pear Tree, another was for Purpose Coffee, and the third was for Front Gate Properties.

The Pear Tree, established in 2011 by Susie Breitling, is a children’s boutique specializing in timeless and trendy clothing for infants to toddlers, including toys and bows. They also have home decor, floral, candles, lotions and purses, and have expanded into women’s clothing and opened a floral shop as well. They recently moved to 521 South U.S. Highway 87.

Purpose Coffee is also now located at 521 South U.S. Highway 87, and the ribbon cutting was held to celebrate their five-year anniversary. It is owned by Julia Williams. Front Gate Real Estate is owned by a father-daughter duo who have raised their families in the Dalhart area and are passionate about the community. Ann-Claire Gustin and Mike Breitling have many years of experience in the local residential, agricultural, and commercial property markets. They are eager to serve their customers and show what their hometown has to offer. Front Gate is now located at 501 South U.S. Highway 87.

The chamber will host another ribbon cutting today, this time for Rewarding Waves. Rewarding Waves is located at 223 Denrock and is owned by Ashley Watson. It’s an all-natural, drug free, health and wellness treatment. They use PEMF technology, which sends ultra-fast magnetic pulses to stimulate the natural electric charge found within every living cell. This stimulation restores “sick” cells to their normal, electric, healthy state. The technology can be used on animals or humans. Some benefits for humans include decreased inflammation, relaxation of muscles and alleviation of pain. The ribbon cutting for Rewarding Waves will be held at 3 p.m. today, Friday October 1, and everyone is invited to help them celebrate the opening of this new business
