Comptroller Glenn Hegar distributes $925 Million in monthly sales tax revenue to local governments

(AUSTIN) — Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $925.1 million in local sales tax allocations for September, 20.9 percent more than in September 2020.

These allocations are based on sales made in July by businesses that report tax monthly.

The City of Dalhart will receive $254,432.01. This is a 14.36% increase over the amount received last year
for the same time period, which was $222,471.60. Dalhart has received a total of $2,191,889.55 this year, which
is an increase of 11.04% from last year.

The City of Texline will receive $5,705.15, which is a decrease of 5.27% over the amount received last year
for the same time period. Texline has received a total of $44,006.64 this year, an increase of 15.45% from last
year.

The City of Channing will receive $1,210.64, which is an increase of 32.05% over the amount received last
year for the same time period. Channing has received a total of $10,684.21 this year, an increase of 12.99%
from last year.
