CareNet baby bottle fundraiser ends this weekend

By Drew Stegall

The Carenet Pregnancy Center’s annual baby bottle drive started on Mother’s Day, and ends on Father’s Day, which is this Sunday. Churches, businesses, and individuals have taken baby bottles with them to fill with spare change, dollar bills, and even checks. After Father’s Day, the baby bottles can be brought back to a Dalhart Church or delivered to Carenet at 105 E. Third Street in Dalhart.

The Carenet Pregnancy Center is a non-profit organization that serves Dalhart and the surrounding communities. Their services include, free pregnancy tests, CPS parenting classes, birthing classes, STD/STI education, child passenger safety, and an earn while you learn program. This organization helps expecting parents as well as parents who already have children. Carenet has helped mothers and families throughout the Covid pandemic.

This organization believes in life-giving education and Christianbased services in difficult decision making circumstances. Their vision is to see families equipped and empowered for a world of life, love, and success. This is made possible through their annual baby bottle drive.
