Rhiana Todd gave a pottery making demonstration at the reception for the Dalhart High School art students
Thursday evening at the XIT Museum. Work from seniors, advanced art classes, as well as those competing
in VASE (Visual Art Scholastic Event) competition, will be on exhibit. The many types of mediums that will
be on display consist of ceramic, oils, pen and ink, acrylic, and drawings. Refreshments were served during
the reception by the Las Viajeras Study, who have volunteered their help for several years as a community
service project. The students’ work will remain on display in the museum through the month of April. For
more information, contact the XIT Museum, 108 E. Fifth Street, at 806-244-5390. Additional photos can be
found on page 12.
