Moved by reports of violence, political divisions and clashes between law enforcement and citizens, Anania decided to carry the cross from Washington D.C. to his hometown of Los Angeles, Calif. “When you see people angry with the police departments and vice versa, it can quickly lead to marshal law,” Anania said.
