Tom White, designer and creator of his fully automated hydroponic fodder machine, is shown with harvested barley. Each day, approximately 1,200 pounds of sprouted barley is harvested from the machine.
In a 40-foot by 60-foot industrial facility in Dalhart lays a one-of-a-kind machine that has the potential to change the future of farming. The apparatus is a fully-automated hydroponic fodder machine, the brain child of Tom White, capable of growing and harvesting seed using limited resources and arguably better yields than conventional farming.
