JBS employee Christmas Angel Tree for CASA 69

THE DALHART TEXAN

Angels from JBS flew in with a ton of gifts for the 50 local CASA 69 children. The many packages brought screams of delight and Christmas wrapping flew everywhere as excited children opened all the presents employees of JBS sent them.

These children are from Dallam, Hartley, Moore and Sherman Counties and are victims of abuse and neglect. While these children are now safe, the holidays are always extra hard for these children, as most of them are spending this time miles away from family and friends. Children in foster care are not only separated from their parents, they may be separated from their siblings and in a town hours away from any family.

CASA 69 volunteers and staff put on their elf hats and delivered some of the Christmas wrapped gifts for those that were in placements close enough to drive and the others were carefully packed for mail to arrive just in time for Christmas.
