There will be a Baby Shower Honoring Stephanie Ellis on Saturday, June 20th. The location will be 424 Rock Island in Dalhart. The time will be from 10:00 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. The hostesses are Chris Akin, Judy Bishop, Gail Finch, Shana Hass, Renae Lenz, Judi Trayler, Gay Ames, Mackenzie Bishop, Debra Ford, Amber Homfeld, Staci Maddox, Stella Walker, Terri Banks, Lynn Bowers, Cali Forry, Susan Hopkins, Laura Taylor, and Christine Watkins. The Dalhart XIT Rangers will hold its first Play Date of the season. The Play Date will take place on Saturday, June 20th; the book will open at 4:30 p.m. It will start at 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. If it rains it will take place the next Saturday, June 27th at the XIT Rangers Arena. The youth of First Baptist Church will be having a FREE car wash this Saturday, June 20th. The car wash will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The ROC, located at 1202 East 16th. The youth have asked for pledges for the total number of cars that will be washed. If you would like to make a pledge or donation you may do so at the car wash. Funds raised will help with the cost of youth camp and other summer activities. Please come out and support our youth. |
