The Panhandle Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts (PASWCDS) will meet August 17, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Dalhart XIT Rangers Hall in Dalhart. David Ahlem, Site Manager of the Hilmar Cheese Company located in Dalhart will be the featured speaker at the meeting. Hilmar Cheese Company specializes in the production of cheddar and American cheese utilized by private label and national brand, retail and foodservice companies across America. The state-of-the-art cheese and whey protein plant in Dalhart processes more than 500,000 gallons of milk each day. Ahlem will speak to the conservation district direct ... Registration for M.A.G.I.C. after school program will be held Tuesday, August 17th from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. A non refundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment.
