XIT Rangers will host their St. Jude Trail Ride on Saturday, May 15 at 10:00 a.m. The chuck wagon feed will be at 6:00 p.m. by C Bar C (Ken Cunningham & Crew) at the XIT Rangers. Good food and entertainment for a good cause. Also, Cattleman's Livestock will auction a registered Angus Heifer donated by Hipo Cattle Co. For more information call 244-4244. 09:00 City of Dalhart to host Annual Fishing Derby Category : General The City of Dalhart will be holding their annual Fishing Derby on Saturday, May 15 at the Rita Blanca Lake Pond beginning at 9:00 a.m. Age categories are as follows: 6 and under boys and girls, 7-12 boys and girls and 13-16 boys and girls. Prizes will be awarded for the first fish caught in all categories, then for the next five fish also in all categories.
