The Las Viajeras Study Club will meet Monday, February 8th at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Lynne Hill. Judi Trayler will serve as co-hostess. Robin Scott will present a program entitled “Do I Need a Lawyer?” Club officers will also be elected. The Dalhart Independent School Board will meet on Monday, February 8 at 6:00 p.m. at the Dalhart ISD, Administration Building, 701 East 10th. Business to be conducted will be: Call to Order, Prayer, and Personnel: Conduct Superintendents Evaluation, Consider Extension of Superintendents Contract, Conduct goal setting meeting, Adjournment. If during the course of the meeting, any item on the agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such executive or closed session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551. The Petal Pushers Garden Club meeting has been canceled for Friday, February 5th. They will meet February 12th at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Margaret Colquitt. Mildred Metcalf will be co-hostess. DHS Counseling Center is seeking scholarship grantors who have not yet contacted us regarding 2010 scholarships. If you intend to award a scholarship to some of our students, please contact us at the DHS Counseling Center. The names of the contact person sometimes changes from year to year and we may not have the new contact’s number. Also, if you desire to give a new scholarship and want to set that up, we would be glad to help you.
