Dalhart Intermediate School will host a Scholastic Book Fair on February 1-5 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Book Fair will be held in room 105. The proceeds from this Book Fair will be used to improve the collection of the school library. On Tuesday, February 2, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., a Family Night event will be held. Refreshments will be served. A gift certificate will be awarded to one DIS student in each grade attending the Family Night. The Book Fair will offer specially priced books and educational products, including new releases, award-winning titles, children’s classics, interactive software, ... The Dallam Darlins will hold their monthly club meeting on Thursday, February 4 at 6:30 p.m.(officers meet at 6:00 p.m.) in the 4-H Meeting Room, 4th and Denver(behind the Extension Office). Roll Call will be “Chocolate or Flowers for Valentines Day.” Community Service: Please bring a box of Valentines or at least 25 homemade Valentines. We will take time during our meeting to fill out the Valentines and get them ready to put in a large envelope to mail to CASA kids. DHS Counseling Center is seeking scholarship grantors who have not yet contacted us regarding 2010 scholarships. If you intend to award a scholarship to some of our students, please contact us at the DHS Counseling Center. The names of the contact person sometimes changes from year to year and we may not have the new contact’s number.
