Saturday, October 10 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at United Supermarket. This is a Canned Food Drive and 4-H Promotional Event. Please drop by United during these hours on October 10, purchase some cans of food and drop them off at the 4-H table at the front of the store. All cans of food will go to our local Good Samaritan.
Raffle to benefit therapeutic ridingCategory : General
Open Arms Therapy invites horse lovers to support the organization through a raffle. Tickets are on sale now and up until the raffle which will be held on Halloween. An oil painting by a local artist will be raffled and all proceeds will benefit OAT’s therapeutic riding program. Contact Kristen Hembree for more information and to purchase tickets, 384.3393.
Rushing Wind Emmaus community will meetCategory : General
Rushing Wind Emmaus community will meet Saturday, October 10, at 6:00 p.m. at the Waka Christian Center. A potluck meal will be served followed by sponsors training and a praise and worship service. Friends and families are welcome and a nursery will be provided. RW will sponsor a men’s “Walk to Emmaus” weekend on October 22-25 at the WCC.
