Dalhart Christian Academy will be selling tubs of ABC cookie dough this month. They offer a variety of flavors, Chocolate Chip, Macadamia Nut, and Chocolate Peanut Butter just to name a few. You can place your order with any DCA student or call the school office at 244-6482 for more information. Orders will be taken thru September 24th and delivery date is set for October 15th. We appreciate in advance for your support. Did you know Wednesday at the Dalhart Senior Center is bring a friend day? If you are a member of the Dalhart Senior Center and bring a friend on Wednesdays, they too can eat for a price. Have a special Occasion or meeting and need a room to rent? The Dalhart Senior Center rents out rooms! Call for information, non-profit, weddings, receptions, gazebo use, conventions, etc. /contact director for prices) Dallam-Hartley Youth Inc. is inviting boys and girls who are in the 2nd or 3rd grades and who turned 7 by September 1st to register to participate in flag football. Registration forms were handed out at all of the area public and private schools, and children who are home schooled may pick up the form at the Dalhart Texan. Forms are due by September 17th along with the fee for the season. A meeting will be held on September 20th. Parents are also encouraged to volunteer to help with coaching, refereeing, working chains, running the clock and other necessary tasks.
