August 11th - will be for all returning students to DHS, as well as all 8th graders that finished at DJHS in 2009. Students that will be a Senior or Junior for the 2009/2010 school year need to come register in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Sophomores and Freshmen for the 2009/2010 school year need to register from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Proof of residence is required for all students (this needs to be a current utility bill with the legal guardians name and address), all updated shot records and a legal guardian must be present to complete the registration materials. August 12th – is only for new students to Dalh ... “Say Cheese for Fun and Fitness” is the theme for the 2009 Dallam 4-H Rally Day. The event will be held Monday, August 10 and Tuesday, August 11 at Camp Billy Joe in Oklahoma. Rally Day marks the beginning of the new 4-H year. All current 4-H members and students age 8 attending 3rd grade through age 13 and interested in joining 4-H are invited. Activities will include games, crafts, and workshops led by Dallam County 4-H Council officers and Dallam teen leaders. Reserved seating football tickets will go on sale to current ticket holders starting Monday, August 3rd, through Friday August 14th. Tickets are available at the Dalhart ISD Central Administration Office, located at the Allyn Finch Building at 701 E. 10th Street. The hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets not picked up and paid for will go on sale to the public starting Monday, August 17th. Souvenir Rodeo tickets will be available at the Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce, 102 E. 7th Street, AFTER the XIT Rodeo & Reunion at no charge. |
