“Say Cheese for Fun and Fitness” is the theme for the 2009 Dallam 4-H Rally Day. The event will be held Monday, August 10 and Tuesday, August 11 at Camp Billy Joe in Oklahoma. Rally Day marks the beginning of the new 4-H year. All current 4-H members and students age 8 attending 3rd grade through age 13 and interested in joining 4-H are invited. Activities will include games, crafts, and workshops led by Dallam County 4-H Council officers and Dallam teen leaders. Reserved seating football tickets will go on sale to current ticket holders starting Monday, August 3rd, through Friday August 14th. Tickets are available at the Dalhart ISD Central Administration Office, located at the Allyn Finch Building at 701 E. 10th Street. The hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets not picked up and paid for will go on sale to the public starting Monday, August 17th. Souvenir Rodeo tickets will be available at the Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce, 102 E. 7th Street, AFTER the XIT Rodeo & Reunion at no charge. |
