News Channel 10 out of Amarillo will be in Dalhart for their 2009 Summer Celebration on Thursday, July 23rd. Channel 10 will be broadcasting the 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. news live from the Dallam County Courthouse here in Dalhart with food, fun and prizes for the entire community. Treasure hunting for 7 to 9-year-olds will transform trash to treasure in Lynne Bowers class. Nine to 12-year-olds can train their hand at calligraphy, the art of beautiful script, with Paige Davis. Hartley County Commissioner’s Court will hold their regular meeting on Monday, July 13 at 8:30 a.m. at the Hartley County Courthouse in Channing. The agenda is to include the review and/or discussion and take necessary action on current bills and financial reports, approve minutes of previous meeting, health insurance contract, Texas County and district retirement, budget workshop, budget amendments, appoint election judges, open forum, and requests from personnel.
