Dalhart Dairy Festival 2009 will be on Saturday, June 6th at Veterans Memorial Park from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. Schedule of events are as follows: 11:00 a.m. till 12:00 Non-profit Team Cheese Carving Competition, 11:30 a.m. Milk Chugging Competition, 12:30 p.m. Milking Competition, 1:30 p.m. Milk Chugging Competition. Sponsored by Hilmar Cheese, North Texas Dairy Women’s Association, Circle H Headquarters LLC, Southwest Dairy Farmers, Deer Creek Feeding LLC and Dairy Max.
Jackpot Team Goat RopingCategory : General
Jackpot Team Goat Roping is open to all ages and will take place on June 6th at XIT Rangers Arena 1 ½ miles West of HWY. 87 & FM 281 Intersection on FM 281 Dalhart. There is a fee for each team and 1/3 back to Jackpot, it pays 1st and 2nd places. Books open at 4:00 p.m. and Roping starts at 5:00 p.m. There will be a Hamburger feed and there will be a charge, bring your lawn chairs and join the fun hosted by the XIT Rangers.
