The Bridal Shower is on Saturday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the home of Kathleen Lysford #19 Pheasant Run. Hostesses include: Jamie Kvanvig, Barbara Kaul, Sandy Nicholson, Brenda Osborne, Helen Sage, Dee Dee Sifuentes, Yolanda Smallwood, Sherry Steffen, Mary Swecker and Tracy White. A bridal shower honoring Kalynn Breitling, bride-elect of Mike Kulhavy, will be held at the home of Kari Bezner on April 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Hostesses for the event are Kari Bezner, Carol Lathem, Krista Skiles, Edna Stout, Siny Brinkman, Liny Mellema, Sharon Taylor, Lural Enns, Marilyn McCarty, Debbie Bailey, Diana Metcalf. Kim Kruse, Jan Meador, Marcy Orman, Jamey Kvanvig, Linda Clements, Beth Moore, Toni Coke, Carole Farris, Kay Bezner, and Kitty Sanford. It’s time once again for spring clean up. So, get out your rakes and shovels and take advantage of this one time a year special. As an incentive to those that live in Dalhart, the City landfill will be open from 9 a.m. thru 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 25th. On this day only, you will be allowed to bring up to a total of 2 bobtail truck loads at the landfill at NO CHARGE, provided that it comes from WITHIN the City limits. Items that can not be accepted are tires, batteries, appliances that still have Freon, and other items such as paints and chemicals.
