DES will be holding spring parent-teacher conferences the week of April 20-24. Students will be released early on Thursday and Friday, April 23 and 24. This is also the Title I spring meeting. Dalhart Elementary School receives Title I funding. This Federal Government funding goes to help meet the needs of ALL students. This funding is used to pay for salaries for teachers and aides that give extra support to students in reading and math during the school year and in summer school. Funds are also used to buy needed supplies and materials to help support both reading and math programs. The 69th Judicial District CSCD will be conducting an Alcohol Education Class for minors on Wednesday April 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 412 Denver Ave., Suite 501, Dalhart.
