All Driver License offices for the Texas Department of Public Safety will be closed on Friday, April 10, 2009, for statewide system maintenance. All offices will reopen at their regularly scheduled times on Monday, April 13, 2009. In addition, online driver license and driver record services at www.texasonline.com will be unavailable from midnight on April 9 through 7 a.m. on April 15. Renew-by-phone services will be unavailable from midnight on April 9 through 7 a.m. on April 22. Anyone wishing to renew their driver license or change their address during that time will need to visit their local driver license office. Go to th ... Dalhart City Hall will be closed Friday, April 10 in observance of Good Friday. The landfill will also be closed Friday through Sunday. We will continue regular business hours on Monday, April 13. Grace Lutheran Church, located at 1311 E 16th St. will have Maundy Thursday Services on Thursday, April 9 at 7:00 p.m. with communion. Good Friday Services will be held Friday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Hope Lutheran in Boise City, Oklahoma. Easter breakfast, sponsored by Grace LWML, (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League) will be served Easter morning, April 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by Easter Worship Services at 11:00 a.m. The Petal Pushers Garden Club will meet Friday, April 10, at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will be at the home of Ann Reynolds, 1302 Maple Avenue. The program will be on “Zero Scape Gardening.” A producer meeting is scheduled for April 10, at the First National Bank in Dalhart. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at noon. The topics to be discussed are Direct and Counter-Cyclical Program (DCP), Payment Limitation Program requirements, Adjusted Gross Income requirements, and Average Crop Revenue Election (ACRE). ACRE will be presented by the Extension Service. The DCP final signup date has been extended to August 14. |
