Counterfeit currency was recovered at a local bank Wednesday.

“We recovered a $10 and a $20 bill,” Dalhart Police Chief David Conenr said. “Where it was passed and everything else, we don’t know. We’ve got an open investigation and we’re trying to figure out who passed it.”
