Title: Community Choice Award ballots result in run-off
The Community Choice Awards has received an astounding response from the local community.  Many readers responded with their ballots; telling us just who the best of the best really is.  The contest truly gave insight into just how many exceptional businesses and great individuals Dalhart really has.  People and businesses dedicated in providing the upmost and over delivering always.

However, several categories in the Community Choice Awards had a great response, but each amazingly had the same number of fans, thus causing the Community Choice Run-Off.  Your favorites for massage therapist, floor covering supplier, and insurance provider all resulted in ties.  It has become obvious that everyone seems to love their massage therapist, adore their flooring supplier, and respect their insurance provider; but you did so in equal numbers, resulting in a five-way tie for massage therapy for Cora Stewart, Stacie Barnett, Judy Cox, Becky Day and Tonya Koelzer; a tie between Furniture Fashions and K’s Interiors for flooring; and a three-way tie for insurance provider between Hometown Insurance, Insurance Associates, and State Farm.

While all of the aforementioned are commended for being exceptional, we must perform a run-off to announce a winner for each category.  We are accepting ballots for the run-off until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6. Once tallied, winners from all categories of the Community Choice Awards will be announced. We appreciate everyone that participated in the Community Choice Awards and for making it such a great success!
