     Title: Polls open today until 7 p.m. in runoff election

Voters will flock to the polls today to decide runoff elections. The only local runoff race on the ballot is the Hartley County Justice of the Peace race, where Beth Bezner Moore will challenge incumbent, Edwyna Womble.

Voters will flock to the polls today to decide runoff elections. The only local runoff race on the ballot is the Hartley County Justice of the Peace race, where Beth Bezner Moore will challenge incumbent, Edwyna Womble.

In Texas, when you do not garner a majority of the vote, a runoff election takes place to determine the winner based on the candidate who wins by a majority. Election Day is Today, Tuesday May 27.

Voters in Dallam County will vote at the Youth Center on Denver and in Texline is at City Hall. Hartley County Voters will vote at the Courthouse in Channing, Community Building in Hartley and the Coliseum in Dalhart. Polls are opened at 7 a.m. and will remain open until 7 p.m.
