Students at Channing High School got a very unique opportunity this last week. It’s an opportunity not very  many students or anyone else for that matter gets in their lifetime.

Sylvia Malcmacher was a teenager when her family was rounded up by the German army and designated for extermination. Her family including her two sisters and her parents were put in a concentration camp and  became unfortunate witnesses to the largest genocide in human history.
