Hartley County Justice of the Peace, Edwyna Womble along with Chris Ray, a senior trooper with the Texas  Department of Public Safety (DPS) were at Dalhart High School last week speaking to Bitsy Jeffers’ driving  education classes about starting their driving careers off successfully.

Hartley County Justice of the Peace, Edwyna Womble along with Chris Ray, a senior trooper with the Texas  Department of Public Safety (DPS) were at Dalhart High School last week speaking to Bitsy Jeffers’ driving  education classes about starting their driving careers off successfully.

Judge Womble stated that she is concerned for the young people because of a surge of arrests for the  offense of drag racing commonly called street racing among youth.
