     Title: City doles out bed tax money

The City of Dalhart Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) committee made recommendations to the council Tuesday (Dec. 10) dishing out over $315,000 to local not-for-profit agencies to help perpetuate the tax over the next year.

The City of Dalhart Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) committee made recommendations to the council Tuesday (Dec. 10) dishing out over $315,000 to local not-for-profit agencies to help perpetuate the tax over the next year.

Mayor Kurtis Thomas, who sits on the HOT committee, made the recommendations to the council during a presentation. The council unanimously approved the requests.
