     Title: Veterans Day Parade to honor local heroes

Two local veterans have been chosen to host the events of Dalhart’s Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony Monday, Nov. 11, but the focus is to honor all local heroes both living and no longer with us during the day’s events.



Two local veterans have been chosen to host the events of Dalhart’s Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony Monday, Nov. 11, but the focus is to honor all local heroes both living and no longer with us during the day’s events.

Things get kicked off with a parade beginning at 10 a.m. organized by the XIT Rangers with veteran and ranger Dick Knight leading the day’s activities.

According to Knight, Wayne Porter will be the Grand Marshall for the parade and he will also give the Keynote Address. Master of Ceremonies will be veteran and local Pastor Robert Ledbetter.
