Counterfeit money is being passed in Dalhart according to Chief of Police Gary Sinclair, so be on the lookout. He said there is an instance where a counterfeit $50 was passed at a local business.



Counterfeit money is being passed in Dalhart according to Chief of Police Gary Sinclair, so be on the lookout. He said there is an instance where a counterfeit $50 was passed at a local business.

“There is a possibility of some counterfeit money being passed in the area,” the chief said in a phone interview Monday (Oct. 28) morning. “If you have anything suspicious contact the police department. Most of our stores are good about getting a hold of us if and when they run across any counterfeit money.”
