     Title: Keeping our public water system safe
In an effort to comply with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and to keep Dalhart’s public water system safe from potential contamination, the city is implementing a plan that will affect businesses and some homeowners.

In an effort to comply with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and to keep Dalhart’s public water system safe from potential contamination, the city is implementing a plan that will affect businesses and some homeowners.

According to City Administrator James Stroud, every property owner with a sprinkler system hooked up to the city water system will be required to have a proper back-flow valve on their system.
