I heard an amazing song this morning that reminded me of the story of Elijah and the widow at Zarephath.  It is good to review:
The Prophet Elijah delivered a message to King Ahab that because of his wickedness it would not rain for three and a half years. Then, he ran!



I heard an amazing song this morning that reminded me of the story of Elijah and the widow at Zarephath.  It is good to review:
The Prophet Elijah delivered a message to King Ahab that because of his wickedness it would not rain for three and a half years. Then, he ran! He hid by the brook Cherith a hundred miles away where God arranged for ravens to feed him. Before long, the brook dried up.  Still, God’s unfailing care did not fail Elijah. He instructed him to get on the road again, travel a long distance to Zarephath and there he would be supplied with food from a widow.
